In this role, you will use your real-world mobile development expertise to design and solve challenging software engineering problems that help evaluate and improve next-generation AI systems.\nThe ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Android, iOS, or cross-platform mobile development, along with the ability to debug complex applications, design robust solutions, and work with modern mobile architectures.\nKey Responsibilities\nCreate realistic and challenging mobile software engineering tasks based on real-world development scenarios.\nDesign problems involving:\nComplex bug identification and resolution\nFeature development\nApplication state management\nMobile application lifecycle\nRefactoring and code quality improvements\nPerformance optimization\nAsynchronous programming and concurrency\nDevelop reproducible environments for mobile coding tasks.\nCreate deterministic verification methods to evaluate whether a solution correctly addresses the assigned problem.\nDevelop reference or golden solutions demonstrating an appropriate implementation.\nEnsure tasks are challenging, technically accurate, reproducible, and representative of real-world mobile engineering.\nWork independently while maintaining high technical and documentation standards.\nApply strong debugging and analytical skills to evaluate multiple possible implementations.\nRequired Qualifications\nSignificant professional experience in mobile software development.\nStrong hands-on expertise in at least one of the following:\nAndroid: Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Android View System\niOS: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit\nCross-Platform: React Native with TypeScript/JavaScript or Flutter with Dart\nStrong understanding of:\nMobile application architecture\nState management\nAsynchronous programming\nApplication lifecycle\nDebugging and troubleshooting\nPerformance optimization\nAbility to understand complex codebases and identify subtle technical issues.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical abilities.\nAbility to independently create technically challenging and well-defined coding tasks.\nStrong written communication and technical documentation skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience working with large or complex mobile applications.\nExperience with performance profiling and optimization.\nExperience debugging difficult production-level issues.\nStrong knowledge of software engineering best practices and design patterns.\nExperience working with open-source or publicly available mobile repositories.\nExperience with automated testing, CI/CD, or developer tooling.\nExperience evaluating or reviewing code written by other developers.\nTechnology Tracks\nCandidates with expertise in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:\nAndroid\nKotlin\nJetpack Compose\nAndroid SDK\nAndroid View System\niOS\nSwift\nSwiftUI\nUIKit\niOS SDK\nCross-Platform\nReact Native\nTypeScript / JavaScript\nFlutter\nDart\nCompensation\nThe opportunity offers compensation in the range of $50–$100 per hour, depending on expertise and project requirements.\nCompensation may be output-based, with payment determined by successfully completed tasks that meet the required quality and project specifications.\nThe amount of time required for each task may vary depending on the complexity of the assignment and the contributor's experience.\nAvailability & Start Timeline\nWe are looking for experienced professionals who are able to start immediately.\nSelected candidates should be prepared to begin their initial assignments shortly after onboarding.
