The hospital’s specialties include orthopaedics, obstetrics, neurosurgery, intensive care, cardiac surgery, cardiology, ear nose and throat, vascular, plastics, oncology and general surgery.

An exciting opportunity has become available for a highly motivated and experienced clinician to join our management team at North Shore Private Hospital! This is a permanent, full-time position.
About the Role
As the Clinical Coordinator of General Surgery in our Theatre Department, you will be responsible for working with and supporting other Nurse Unit Managers and Clinical staff in a hands-on clinical capacity; achieving excellence in the delivery of patient care in line with best practice and legislative requirements.
The General Surgery portfolio consists of:
- Upper GI
- Colorectal
- Endocrinology
- Breast surgery
- Bariatric surgery
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring a strong General Surgery clinical skillset and recent management experience within a hospital setting.
You will have exceptional communication skills and a passion for delivering excellent client care and customer service.
You will also bring:
- Relevant qualifications and Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum five (5) years’ post graduate nursing experience
- Proven knowledge as a senior nurse or manager
- Management or relevant post-graduate specialty qualifications will be highly regarded.
- Experience or exposure to managing clinical staff including recruitment, rostering and performance management.
- Ability to effectively plan and manage financial, human and capital resources.
Remuneration
On offer is a base hourly rate of $70.89 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (NSW Nursing/Midwifery Unit Manager Level 1)
