Our large Alberta-based financial client is seeking a QA Test Analyst for a 4 month contract.\n\nClient: Financial Services\nDuration: 4 months with a possibility for an extension\nLocation: Remote\nPay Rate: $63-79/hr INC\n\n--------------------------------------------------------\n\nAdvantages\n• Advance your career by working with a top financial institution in Alberta.\n\nResponsibilities\nAccountabilities:\nUtilize your multi year QA experience in providing test support to the Senior Test Manager assigned to a tech initiative.\nCreate and or review test cases per functional design documentation\nPerform Functional, System, System Integration, UAT, Smoke and Regression testing in various applications within our banking system, including SAP\nPerform end-to-end testing in our SAP Banking environment\nPerform automation testing duties as required\nAssess testing requirements and provide estimates of test effort\nWork closely with Senior Test Manager/Test Manager to identify and to contribute to the testing strategy and acceptance criteria for all stages of an initiative\nAnalyze business requirements to ensure test-ability\nIdentify and understand cross systems impacts and risks of the initiative\nDevelop test scenarios/cases and scripts to ensure quality of applications\nPrepare constructive and destructive test cases ensuring E2E scenarios are adequately covered in a thorough and efficient manner\nExecute tests and ensure results achieve documented objectives and criteria\nFollow through with and maintain accuracy in assigned Jira stories and track status as directed\nAttend daily standup/scrum meetings as scheduled and provide updates as required\nLiaise with all project team participants, team lead, vendors, internal audit and other resources at various levels\nEnsure quality and completeness of testing deliverables\nUse risk management approach to modify or develop test scripts and prioritize test execution based on level of risk\nConduct walkthroughs of test plans and test specifications to project teams as directed\nProvide test execution status reporting to various stakeholders\nAdhere to the testing methodology (planning, preparing, executing, evaluating, reporting)\nExecute any other duties as per the Sr. Test Manager\n\nQualifications\nREQUIREMENTS: (technical skills, experience and/or soft skills)\n5+ years QA or developer experience with large enterprise systems\nBanking system experience\nExperience working in Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid Methodologies\nSAP test or development experience (eg: TRBK,CRM/AO, PC, Portal/Fiori, FRDP, S4 Hana, eg..)\nCandidates with experience in S4 testing would be highly preferred\nExperience with test scope analysis and test case writing\nExperience with functional requirements analysis and breakdown\nExperience with regression, integration and smoke testing testing\nExperience with automated testing practices\nExperience with SIT, FIT, UAT test cycles\nExperience in data mining and end to end testing practices\nExperience with the test automation tool Tosca would be very nice to have\nExperience with qTest would be very nice to have\nExperience with Playwright would be very nice to have\nExperience working with Jira would be nice to have\n\nSummary\nIf you're looking for a challenging yet rewarding opportunity that allows you to make a significant impact and grow your career, apply now and become an integral part of our client's mission to deliver excellence .
