You will serve as the first point of contact for suppliers and ensure seamless internal project handovers.\nYour main responsibilities will include:\nFirst Point of Contact for Suppliers: Acting as the primary liaison between external vendors and internal departments, ensuring smooth coordination and strong relationship management.\n\nProject Handover & Execution: Managing project workflows from initial supplier contact through to passing fully scoped projects on to the specialist team.\n\nData Management & Excel Tracking: Utilizing Excel and specialized tracking spreadsheets to generate reports, track progress, maintain documentation, and uphold files.\n\nProduct Lifecycle Support: Supporting leadership in overseeing the product lifecycle for assigned sub-categories and managing supplier product samples.\n\nCommodity & Market Analysis: Understanding commodity markets and providing actionable recommendations to leadership based on market research.\n\nContinuous Improvement: Assisting with team onboarding/training and offering suggestions to improve operational and administrative procedures.\n\nRequirements\nOur partner is looking for you if you have:\nEducation & Experience:\nBachelor’s degree\n\nAt least 1 year of procurement, buyer or purchasing or supply chain experience is considered a strong advantage.\n\nEssential Skills & Attributes:\nHighly Organized & Meticulous: Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to maintain structured documentation and multitask efficiently.\n\nProactive Mindset: Self-driven approach to anticipating needs, managing challenges, and driving continuous improvement.\n\nCommercial Curiosity: A genuine interest in retail operations, market trends, products, and commercial efficiency.\n\nSound Judgment: Good discretion and decision-making capability regarding process applications and operational workflows.\n\nStrong Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to build positive relationships across cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
