You will play a key role in cloud modernization, infrastructure transformation, security enhancement, business continuity, and operational excellence initiatives across a global environment.\nWorking at the intersection of infrastructure operations, cloud technologies, and enterprise engineering, you will collaborate closely with Site IT teams, infrastructure partners, cybersecurity teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure services that support Lonza's global operations\nWhat you will get: Opportunity to lead enterprise-scale infrastructure modernization initiatives spanning cloud and datacenter environments.\n\n Hands-on ownership of Microsoft Azure, VMware, Nutanix, Windows Server, and associated enterprise technologies.\n\n Exposure to global transformation programs, datacenter consolidations, cloud migrations, and site integration projects.\n\n Opportunity to work with geographically distributed Infrastructure, Site IT, Security, and Operations teams across Americas, EMEA, and APAC.\n\n Modern engineering environment focused on automation, operational excellence, service reliability, disaster recovery, and continuous improvement.\n\n Exposure to enterprise security, compliance, and infrastructure governance practices within a global life sciences organization\n\nWhat you will do: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise infrastructure solutions across on-premises datacenters and Microsoft Azure environments.\n\n Lead cloud migration, datacenter modernization, carve-out, and infrastructure transformation initiatives while ensuring minimal business disruption.\n\n Administer and optimize Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PKI, and Certificate Services.\n\n Manage and support VMware and Nutanix platforms, ensuring availability, scalability, performance, and operational efficiency.\n\n Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions utilizing enterprise recovery technologies and best practices.\n\n Perform infrastructure security hardening, vulnerability remediation, compliance activities, and operational risk reduction initiatives.\n\n Support site migration projects and act as an escalation point for regional Site IT teams across global locations.\n\nWhat we are looking for: Extensive experience in enterprise infrastructure engineering, system administration, cloud operations, and datacenter management.\n\n Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure, including Azure IaaS, Azure Migrate, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.\n\n Deep knowledge of Windows Server technologies and core infrastructure services including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, PKI, and Certificate Services.\n\n Hands-on experience administering VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, HA, DRS, and vMotion environments.\n\n Experience supporting Nutanix platforms including AHV, Prism Central, Prism Element, and AOS.\n\n Strong background in backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, and infrastructure resiliency planning.\n\n Demonstrated experience leading cloud migrations, infrastructure transformations, site migrations, and datacenter modernization programs.\n\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
