In this role, you will lead client-facing projects involving the design, execution, and optimisation of in vitro cell-based bioassays using human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) to assess the immune response to therapeutics\nWhat you will get\n Work in an engaging and collaborative laboratory environment.\n Expand your skills across human primary immune cell biology and bioassay platform development.\n Gain practical experience with human primary immune cell isolation, cutting-edge cell-based assays, and advanced immunogenicity screening techniques.\n Lead and contribute to real-world client projects, playing a direct role in evaluating and advancing therapeutic candidates.\nWhat you will do\n Support and deliver in vitro cell-based bioassays to assess immune responses to therapeutic candidates across multiple client studies.\n Perform routine isolation, banking, and characterisation of human peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) following standard operational procedures.\n Maintain reliable laboratory workflows, troubleshoot routine experimental procedures, and assist in optimising and expanding assay capabilities.\n Keep accurate laboratory records, compile findings into technical reports, and present results to project teams and clients.\nWhat we are looking for:\n Degree (BSc or MSc) in Biological Sciences, Immunology, or a related discipline.\n Solid understanding of immunology and bioassay principles.\n Practical laboratory experience with aseptic cell culture, immune cell isolation, or assessment of immune responses, gained through university research projects, placements, internships, or industry experience.\n Strong commitment to continuous learning and professional development\n Clear communication, strong record-keeping abilities, and meticulous attention to detail.\nAbout Lonza\nAt Lonza, our people are our greatest strength.
