You will work primarily in the office, with the flexibility to work remotely for 20% of your time (one day per week).\nNote: For this vacancy, you will work on site 2 days per week (Wednesday mandatory) and remotely 3 days per week.\nWhat you will get:\nAn agile career and dynamic working culture.\n\nAn inclusive and ethical workplace.\n\nCompetitive hourly rate.\n\nCompensation for this role will be determined by the candidate’s qualifications, skills, experience, and relevant knowledge.\nWhat you will do:\nCreate, enhance, and govern Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process maps, and work instructions across EMEA HR and Payroll operations.\n\nPartner closely with HR Advisory and Payroll Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the EMEA region.\n\nAttend and record knowledge-transfer sessions, translating operational practices into clear, user-friendly documentation and training materials.\n\nMaintain a structured central documentation repository, ensuring version control, proper ownership, and accessibility across the region.\n\nEmbed compliance, audit readiness, GDPR requirements, and key internal controls across all documented processes.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to reflect process and workflow touchpoints across systems such as Workday and Strada.\n\nChampion continuous improvement and operational excellence, supporting the regional alignment and standardisation of HR Services.\n\nWhat we are looking for:\nProven experience creating SOPs, process maps, work instructions, and operational documentation within HR, Payroll, Shared Services, or Process Excellence environments.\n\nStrong analytical ability to translate complex, multi-country business processes into structured, clear documentation.\n\nExcellent written English with exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.\n\nProficiency with process mapping tools (such as MS Visio or similar) and advanced MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).\n\nPrior experience operating within a multinational or shared services environment.\n\nFamiliarity with core HR and payroll terminology and operational workflows (no live payroll.\n\nProfessional fluency in French, Spanish, German, or Dutch is advantageous, as is exposure to Continuous Improvement or Lean Six Sigma methodologies.\n\nAbout Lonza At Lonza, their people are their greatest strength.
