Here, you'll make a genuine impact on how people manage their financial lives while working alongside a team that celebrates wins, makes big decisions, and blazes new trails together.\nAbout the role\nRange is seeking a Business Operations Manager to help execute the company's most important cross-functional initiatives as we scale. You'll drive key work streams across the company's highest-priority projects: the ones that are too large, too ambiguous, or too cross-cutting for any single function to carry alone.\nBusiness Operations owns a rotating portfolio of high-priority projects end-to-end, including scoping the problem, driving execution across teams, and handing the result off to a permanent functional owner once it's running. As a Manager on the team, you'll be the engine behind that execution: building project plans, tracking progress, pulling together the right people, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks. It's a role for someone early in their career who is highly organized, energized by ambiguity, and eager to learn the whole business quickly.\nThis role is based at Range's Headquarters in McLean, VA, with an in-office schedule Monday through Friday.\nWhat you’ll do with us\nDrive key workstreams within the company's highest-priority cross-functional initiatives, from kickoff through delivery and hand-off.\n\nBuild and maintain project plans with milestones, owners, dependencies, and timelines; and keep them current as initiatives evolve.\n\nCoordinate across multiple teams to keep work moving, surfacing risks and blockers early and following through until they're resolved.\n\nGather and analyze data to help frame problems, evaluate options, and measure whether initiatives are delivering the intended outcomes.\n\nPrepare clear status updates, meeting materials, and documentation to keep stakeholders aligned.\n\nHelp build the templates, trackers, and playbooks that make Business Operations a repeatable, high-leverage engine as Range scales.\n\nPartner cross-functionally with Product, Finance, Operations, Engineering, Compliance, Advisory, and member-facing teams to support strategic initiatives.\n\nWhat will set you apart\n5+ years of experience, ideally in management consulting, business operations, or a similar analytical, execution-focused role.\n\nUndergraduate degree from a top-tier university, MBA preferred\n\nHighly organized with excellent project management skills and strong attention to detail.\n\nAnalytical, with comfort using data to structure problems and track outcomes.\n\nAble to bring structure to ambiguous situations and stay organized when the path isn't fully defined.\n\nA high degree of ownership and follow-through\n\nStrong communication skills, with the ability to keep multiple stakeholders aligned through clear updates.\n\nAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced startup environment.\n\nExposure to wealth management, FinTech, or another regulated financial services context is a plus.\n\nCompensation\nBase salary range: $100,000 - $170,000\nThis is the base salary range we expect in good faith to pay for this role at the time of posting. Where an offer lands within the range depends on the scope and complexity of work the candidate can own independently and demonstrated depth at this level.\nOther compensation and benefits\nThe range above reflects base salary only. Our offer packages also include equity in the form of stock options, so total compensation for this role will exceed the base salary range.\nWe do not ask for or consider salary history.
