You’ll develop user-facing applications and backend systems that power fleet insights, vehicle monitoring, and operational intelligence.\nThis role sits at the intersection of vehicles, hardware, and cloud software. You’ll work closely with firmware, systems, and hardware teams to turn real-world vehicle data into intuitive tools and scalable services..\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, build, and maintain end-to-end software systems-from frontend interfaces to backend services and APIs\n\nDevelop dashboards and tools for fleet operators to monitor vehicle performance, energy usage, and system health\n\nBuild scalable backend services to ingest, process, and store telemetry data from connected vehicles\n\nCollaborate with firmware and embedded teams to integrate vehicle and hardware data into cloud platforms\n\nImplement data pipelines and analytics features to support decision-making and optimization\n\nImprove system performance, reliability, and scalability across the stack\n\nContribute to system architecture decisions and technical strategy\n\nWrite clean, maintainable, and well-tested code in a fast-paced environment\n\nWhat Success Looks Like (first 6-12 months)\nEstablish and manage a configuration database for tracking and servicing deployed production units.\n\nBuild and deploy scalable infrastructure for long-term data storage and tracking from deployed systems.\n\nDevelop end-to-end (frontend and backend) testing infrastructure for factory and commissioning data.\n\nCreate comprehensive tooling (frontend and backend) to support field service operations and diagnostics.\n\nFor the above projects, some of these may involve evaluating 3rd party software tools and integrating them with internal tools that you are responsible for developing\n\nRequired Qualifications\n3-7+ years of experience in full stack software development\n\nStrong proficiency in modern frontend frameworks (e.g., React, Vue, or similar)\n\nBackend experience with languages such as Python, Node.js, or Go\n\nExperience building and consuming RESTful APIs and working with distributed systems\n\nFamiliarity with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure)\n\nExperience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL), and with time-series high-resolution, high-volume data\n\nStrong understanding of software engineering best practices (testing, version control, CI/CD), as well as familiarity with building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines\n\nAbility to work cross-functionally with hardware and embedded systems teams\n\nPreferred / Nice-to-Haves\nExperience working with IoT systems, telemetry data, or connected devices\n\nFamiliarity with vehicle data protocols (CAN, UDS, etc.)\n\nExperience building data visualization tools or analytics platforms\n\nExposure to real-time data processing (Kafka, streaming systems, etc.)\n\nBackground in fleet, logistics, automotive, or energy
