This would start as an individual-contributor role today, with scope and team expected to grow over time.\nRESPONSIBILITIES\nBuild and own a mobile UI test automation framework using Appium and WebdriverIO with TypeScript, covering iOS and Android.\nExtend our existing Playwright API test suite to cover backend data sources\nSet up and manage cloud device testing infrastructure for iOS and Android\nDefine testing processes, regression strategy, and release readiness standards for mobile\nWork with the mobile development team on testability and quality standards\nAlign mobile testing practices with the broader QA organization\nApply testing practices suited to sensitive personal and payment data\nUse AI tools to support test design, automation, and coverage of AI-assisted app development\nREQUIREMENTS\nMust have:\n5+ years of experience as QA, Tester, SDET, or similar, with strong expertise in mobile testing\nExperience building and owning a mobile test automation framework: architecture, CI integration, flaky test mitigation\nStrong hands-on experience with Appium and WebdriverIO\nSolid TypeScript proficiency\nExperience testing REST APIs, ideally with Playwright or similar\nExperience setting up and using cloud device testing platforms (BrowserStack, Sauce Labs, AWS Device Farm, or similar)\nExperience with Azure DevOps Pipelines or similar CI/CD tooling\nExperience using AI tools (e.g. Claude) to support test automation work\nComfortable working as an individual contributor and primary technical owner\nExperience testing applications handling sensitive personal or payment data\nNice to have:\nBackground in travel technology or complex platform ecosystems\nExperience testing React Native applications\nCOMPENSATION\nWe provide a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. Employees have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance.
