From exploration grants, improved access to education, new discoveries on sea and land, cultural infrastructure, and helping our global neighbors in times of need - we are investing to build a better future.\nThis is a hybrid role requiring 1 to 2 days a week at our office located in Downtown, Toronto.\nABOUT THE ROLE\nTripArc's travel booking platforms are used every day by thousands of travel professionals to plan, price, book, and manage trips for their clients. We're re-envisioning them as a single AI-powered platform.\nWe're hiring a Senior Product Manager for Trip Management, which covers everything after a client says yes. You'll own our new payments, booking, invoicing, and accounting systems, set the goals for the area, and decide what we build next to reach them. Because these systems are new, we don't have to copy how travel payments have always worked. You'll decide where AI belongs in the product, and you'll know payments well enough to tell where the numbers have to be exact.\nYou'll report to the Group Product Manager for Trip Management and work with a dedicated team of engineers, QA, UX, and delivery.\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES\nSet the product strategy for payments, booking, invoicing, and accounting for the next 12 to 18 months.\nDefine OKRs for the area, such as payment success rate, and report progress to leadership.\nOwn the roadmap: decide what to build next to move those OKRs and what to defer, using pilot feedback and production data, and explain the trade-offs.\nFind where AI can do useful work in the product that truly moves our goals and OKRs, instead of rebuilding how the old platform works.\nMake the product decisions on how money moves (deposits, final payments, refunds, credits, currencies), and record them so everyone works from the same answer.\nLead cross-functional work with engineering, architecture, QA, UX, and delivery from problem definition to launch.\nWork with Finance, Accounting, and 24/7 support on reconciliation, statements, refunds, and audit needs.\nPlan the move of travel professionals and in-progress trips off our legacy platform.\nQUALIFICATIONS\nMust have\n6+ years in product management, including 3+ owning payments, billing, invoicing, or another product that handles financial transactions.\nA track record of setting OKRs and prioritizing a roadmap against them with senior stakeholders, including Finance.\nWorking knowledge of the payment lifecycle: authorization, capture, deposits, refunds, chargebacks and reconciliation.\nGood judgement on where AI belongs in a money flow, knowing that amounts and ledger entries must stay exact and auditable.\nYou use AI tools in your own work every day.\nClear writing: you can turn a messy discussion into a short decision record.\nYou're comfortable reading API documentation and can pull BI data to check things yourself.\nNice to have\nYou've shipped a product feature built on AI or machine learning.\nAccounting knowledge and experience with ERP systems.\nIntegrations with payment providers.\nTravel industry experience, especially supplier bookings and deposit schedules.\nPricing and payments in more than one currency.\nFraud and risk models or automated reconciliation.\nExperience replacing a legacy system while it stays live.\nCOMPENSATION\nWe provide a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. Employees have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance.
