Our platform is complex, our pace is fast, and quality assurance sits at the heart of everything we deliver.\nWe're looking for a Senior QA Analyst to join our team in a hands-on senior individual contributor role. This is an opportunity for someone who is passionate about test automation, quality engineering, and software testing craftsmanship while mentoring other QA professionals.\nAs the Senior/QA Analyst, you will own the automation strategy within your delivery pod by designing and maintaining Playwright/TypeScript automation frameworks, executing deep manual and exploratory testing, and helping establish a high technical standard across the QA team. You'll work closely with Developers, Product Owners, and the QA Manager while providing mentorship and guidance to QA Analysts.\nThe ideal candidate brings deep, hands-on expertise with Playwright and TypeScript-the primary automation framework used across the team-not simply experience with multiple testing tools. You'll also be comfortable incorporating Claude or comparable AI-assisted development and testing tools into your daily workflow to improve efficiency and testing quality.\nKey Responsibilities\nTest Automation (Playwright & TypeScript)\nDesign, build, and maintain automated test suites using Playwright and TypeScript.\nOwn the automation architecture for your product area, including page objects, reusable utilities, fixtures, test data management, and reporting.\nContinuously expand automation coverage across UI, API, regression, and end-to-end testing.\nIntegrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast, reliable feedback throughout the development lifecycle.\nTroubleshoot failed automated tests and distinguish product defects from automation or environment issues.\nContinuously improve automation maintainability, scalability, and reliability.\nAI-Assisted Quality Engineering\nUse company-approved AI tools, including Claude, to accelerate test case creation, automation development, code review, and defect investigation.\nApply sound engineering judgment when validating AI-generated code and test coverage.\nShare effective AI-assisted testing practices and workflows across the QA team.\nManual & Exploratory Testing\nPerform detailed manual and exploratory testing for complex functionality and scenarios not yet automated.\nCreate well-structured test plans and test cases using Xray.\nExecute functional, integration, regression, system, and exploratory testing.\nPerform API testing using Postman and validate application data through SQL queries.\nDocument defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps, environment details, and expected versus actual results.\nCollaboration & Mentorship\nPartner closely with Developers, Product Owners, and the QA Manager to define quality strategy early in the development lifecycle.\nReview test cases and automation contributions from QA Analysts while providing coaching and technical mentorship.\nParticipate in Agile ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog refinement, and release readiness discussions, representing the QA perspective.\nAssess quality risks and communicate recommendations clearly to both technical and business stakeholders.\nQualifications\n5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance with significant ownership of test automation.\nStrong hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript (required).\nExperience designing and maintaining UI and API automation frameworks.\nStrong understanding of automation architecture, design patterns, reusable test frameworks, fixtures, page objects, and test data management.\nExperience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines.\nExperience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman.\nWorking knowledge of SQL and relational databases.\nExperience using Git, pull requests, branching strategies, and source control workflows.\nExperience working with Jira, Confluence, Xray, or similar Agile delivery tools.\nStrong understanding of Agile software delivery methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.\nStrong defect investigation and root cause analysis skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nHands-on experience using Claude or comparable AI-assisted development and testing tools as part of the testing and automation workflow.\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.\nAdditional Assets\nExperience with Selenium WebDriver or other automation frameworks.\nExperience working within travel technology, booking platforms, or other complex distributed software ecosystems.\nExperience working across multi-pod Agile delivery teams.\nPrevious experience mentoring or coaching QA Analysts.\nCompensation\nWe provide a competitive compensation package with a strong pay-for-performance rewards approach. Employees have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and compensation tied to business and individual performance.
