Experience in underground utilities or construction is strongly preferred.\nKey Responsibilities\n\nAssist with the installation, repair, and maintenance of water main systems\nSupport setup and teardown of tapping, line-stop, and valve insertion equipment\nClean and maintain tools, trucks, and work areas\nLoad and unload materials and equipment\nFollow instructions from senior technicians and job leads on site\nParticipate in pre-job safety meetings and follow safety protocols\nComplete basic documentation such as safety checklists or field reports as directed\nObserve and learn proper procedures for tapping, stopping, and field repairs\nSkills, Knowledge and Expertise\n\nBasic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical skills\nAbility to follow oral and written directions\nReliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team\nClear communication and respectful interaction with others\nValid driver’s license with clean driving record required\nAbility to work outdoors in all weather conditions\nAvailability to travel and work overnight or on-call shifts as needed\nCommitment to safety, attendance, and professional preferred\nAbility to obtain OSHA 10 and forklift certification within 90 days of hire\n________________________________________\nMental/Physical Demands and Environmental Factors\nFrequent standing, walking, lifting, bending, and kneeling\nAbility to lift and carry up to 75 lbs\nMust be able to climb ladders up to 30 feet\nExposure to construction hazards, moving parts, and outdoor elements\nWork
