– Wireline \n\nSUMMARY\nUnder direct supervision, the Wireline Operator will be responsible for safely performing Wireline related duties at the well site and in the shop, while ensuring compliance with all regulations applicable to Wireline explosives operations. \n\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES\nLearn basic oil well operations including identifying different rig types and drill string components, BOP procedures and equipment, HSE procedures and guidelines, and other safety and service protocols and guidelines under direct supervision\nPrepare for jobs by assisting with tool maintenance, pre-job, and post- job tool checkout \nAssist rigging up and down the wireline surface and downhole equipment\nAssist in tool string make-ups and assembly of downhole logging tools including perforating guns, pipe recovery, and setting tools\nAssist with maintaining, cleaning, and performing preventative maintenance on down-hole and surface logging equipment inclusive of mechanical devices, logging head, explosive setting tools and perforating hardware, cement bailer systems, pressure control components\nPerforming basic duties at the well site and at the shop \nDriving company vehicles in a safe manner while observing Company and government regulations \nActively participate in continuous improvement initiatives to promote safe and efficient operations\nPromoting and maintaining good customer relations \nCommunicate with co-workers, superiors, company men, and rig supervisors on the well site\nPerform other related or site-specific duties as required\n\nREQUIRED EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE\nHigh school diploma or GED equivalent\nMust possess a valid driver’s license\nMinimum of 6 months of previous experience as a wireline operator \nMust be able to pass comprehensive ATF (Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms) background check\nStrong mechanical aptitude \nBasic computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office suite\nMust be able to work in a team environment\nMust be able to perform the essential functions in a fast paced and high stress environment\nMust possess exceptional customer service skills\n\nCOMPUTER\nBasic knowledge of MS Office preferred\n\nPRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS\nMust complete and pass all required pre-employment
