We are now building the production foundry that supplies gas turbine hot section\nparts to defense, aerospace, and energy customers.\n Here is avideo where you can check out our team, office and what we are doing here at Rangeview, Inc. \nWhat's in it for you\nAs the Head of Finance, you will be Rangeview's first finance hire and the architect of how the\ncompany funds itself. Foundries are capital intensive, and the winning move is not to fund them\nwith venture equity. Your central mandate is to bring in cheap capital to build factories against\nlong-term production contracts, and to build the finance function that lenders, customers, and\ngovernment capital offices will trust with those dollars.\nThis is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can operate at both the strategic and tactical\nlevels. You will personally run the model, the board materials, and the debt processes on day\none, and you will hire the controller and financial analyst who take the operating work off your\nplate as the function scales. You will work directly with the CEO, the board, lenders, customers,\nand government capital programs, including the Department of Defense Office of Strategic\nCapital, to structure the financing behind each factory.\nYou will ultimately own the \"how\" behind Rangeview's ability to build production capacity faster\nand cheaper than the incumbents.\nWhat you'll do\nServe as the leader accountable for the Finance organization and the primary point of\nownership for capital strategy, financial planning, accounting, and financial controls.\nStructure and close non-dilutive and low-cost capital for factory buildouts, including project\nfinance, asset-based and equipment financing, contract-backed facilities, and government\nloan and loan-guarantee programs.\nLead Rangeview's engagement with the Department of Defense Office of Strategic Capital\nand related federal, state, and local capital programs, and build the financial credibility those\noffices require.\nConvert customer production contracts into bankable collateral by working with business\ndevelopment and legal on contract structure, take-or-pay terms, milestone schedules, and\nofftake commitments.\nBuild and maintain lender and capital-provider relationships across private credit, banks,\nexport credit agencies, equipment lessors, and strategic investors.\nOwn the company's financial model, capital plan, and cash forecast, and keep them accurate\nenough to make factory-level capital decisions against.\nRecruit, hire, and manage a controller and a financial analyst, and establish the\norganizational structure to support multi-site manufacturing.\nStand up the accounting function, monthly close, financial reporting, and internal controls,\nand prepare the company for its first audit.\nDevelop and justify departmental budgets, headcount plans, and capital-expenditure\nproposals across the company in partnership with engineering, operations, and supply chain.\nManage board and investor reporting, covenant compliance, and lender reporting.\nLead pricing, contract economics, and margin analysis for production programs, and give the\nexecutive team objective findings to make cross-functional decisions.\nSelect and implement the finance and accounting systems required to scale across sites and\nentities.\nEnsure compliance with applicable federal, state, contractual, and regulatory requirements,\nincluding cost accounting and government contract requirements where applicable.\nLead financial diligence for future equity rounds, strategic transactions, and\nvertical-integration opportunities.\nWhat you'll need\nBachelor's degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a quantitative discipline.\n3+ years of experience in investment banking at a bulge-bracket or top-tier boutique, with a\nfocus on industrials, aerospace and defense, leveraged finance, or M&A.;\n3+ years of experience in private credit, direct lending, structured credit, or project finance,\nincluding originating, underwriting, and closing transactions.\nDemonstrated experience taking a financing from term sheet to close, including negotiating\nstructure, covenants, and documentation.\nExpert financial modeling skills, including project-level and corporate models with debt sizing,\ncovenant testing, and scenario analysis.\nStrong understanding of how lenders underwrite manufacturing assets and contract-backed\ncash flows.\nWorking knowledge of GAAP and the ability to build and oversee an accounting function you\nhave not previously run.\nAbility to clearly and concisely communicate complex financial information to executive\nleadership, boards, lenders, government officials, and cross-functional teams.\nTrack record of sustained high output in demanding environments, and the appetite to keep\nthat pace at a company that is building factories.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with evolving systems, processes, and\norganizational needs.\nPreferred qualifications\nExperience with Department of Defense Office of Strategic Capital, Defense Production Act\nTitle III, Department of Energy Loan Programs Office, EXIM, SBA, or similar government\ncapital programs.\nExperience financing manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or other hard-asset projects\nagainst offtake or production contracts.\nExperience with equipment financing, sale-leaseback, and asset-based lending structures.\nExperience at a venture-backed company, or leading a financing process on the company\nside of the table.\nKnowledge of government contract accounting, FAR and DFARS cost principles, and CAS.\nExperience selecting, implementing, or scaling ERP, accounting, and FP&A platforms.\nExperience hiring and managing accounting and finance staff.\nFamiliarity with aerospace, defense, or industrial supply chains and customers.\nCFA, CPA, or MBA.\nAdditional requirements\nMust be able to work onsite in El Segundo, California.\nMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.\nMust be able to travel to lenders, customers, government offices, and factory sites based on\nbusiness
