Through advanced software, deep automation, breakthroughs in materials science, and modern financing strategies, Rangeview rewrites both the cost curve and the power structure of making metal parts.\nWhat’s in it for you\nDesign and develop the industrial infrastructure that powers Rangeview’s aerospace foundry. You will take ownership of engineering projects involving electrical distribution, industrial HVAC, and process utilities, supporting our current production ramp and future factory development.\nWhat you’ll do\nLead MEP engineering from concept through commissioning for manufacturing expansions, industrial utility upgrades, equipment installations, and future factory development.\nPerform engineering calculations and coordinate multidisciplinary specifications, design criteria, and utility capacity plans.\nEngineer and coordinate electrical distribution, industrial HVAC, process cooling, compressed air, industrial gases, vacuum, ventilation, and exhaust systems.\nPartner with Manufacturing Engineering to integrate utility requirements for melting furnaces, casting systems, and other production equipment.\nManage technical deliverables from external engineers and vendors, reviewing drawings, calculations, equipment selections, and system designs.\nSupport construction, resolve technical issues, and coordinate commissioning, performance verification, and engineering handover.\nDevelop scalable infrastructure standards and evaluate designs for reliability, maintainability, efficiency, and lifecycle cost.\nWhat you’ll need\n5+ years of engineering experience in industrial facilities and manufacturing infrastructure.\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent experience.\nStrong expertise in mechanical or electrical engineering, with working knowledge of multidisciplinary industrial MEP systems and process utilities.\nExperience with engineering calculations, technical specifications, design reviews, and industrial equipment integration.\nFamiliarity with applicable engineering codes, industrial electrical distribution, HVAC, and utility infrastructure.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate contractors and engineering consultants.\nMust be able to work full-time, W2, onsite in El Segundo, CA.\nPreferred qualifications\nAerospace, defense, investment casting, foundry, or advanced-manufacturing experience.\nExperience with high-temperature furnaces, vacuum systems, process cooling, industrial ventilation, or high-capacity electrical infrastructure.\nProficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, or similar engineering software and experience with industrial commissioning.\nExperience in a rapidly scaling manufacturing startup.\nAdditional requirements\nMust be able to work extended hours and/or weekends and travel to future manufacturing sites as needed.\nCompensation\nPlease note that the compensation information below is a general guideline.
