The successful candidate will play a key role in the architecture, design, validation, and release of advanced hardware systems. This role requires strong technical leadership, hands-on design capability, and the ability to mentor junior team members.\nKey Responsibilities\nContribute to hardware architecture and system-level design.\nConduct and participate in peer design reviews.\nSupport the development and definition of circuit pack functional requirements.\nParticipate in component engineering including component selection, coding, and review.\nCapture detailed circuit-level schematics.\nPerform design simulations and analysis.\nDevelop PCB stackups and guide PCB layout efforts.\nManage and coordinate PCB layout resources.\nWork with high-speed RF transmission lines and high-speed digital interfaces.\nLead bring-up, debug, and characterization of new designs.\nMentor and guide junior hardware engineers.\nAuthor, maintain, and contribute to technical documentation, including:Functional Specifications\nHardware Design Specifications\nVerification Test Plans\nECO Documentation and Design Release Packages\n\nRequirements\nBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent discipline.\nMinimum of 5+ yearsof relevant hardware design experience.\nProven board-level design experience including:High-speed digital circuit design\nAnalog circuit design\nPower supply / power management design\nProcessor and microcontroller interfaces\nClock distribution\nFPGA-based designs\n\nExperience with thermal management in hardware systems.\nKnowledge of EMI/EMC design principles and compliance processes.\nExperience with schematic capture tools (OrCAD).\nExperience with PCB layout tools (Cadence Allegro).\nStrong signal integrity analysis experience.\nExperience with hardware tracking, validation, and testing processes.\nProficiency with lab characterization equipment:Oscilloscopes, DVMs, Spectrum Analyzers, Optical test equipment\n\nHands-on troubleshooting skills and practical lab experience.\nDemonstrated ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.\nStrong communication skills and a proactive, self-starter mindset.\nRanovus is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applicants from all backgrounds and lived experiences, including those from equity deserving and underrepresented communities.
