Additionally, a new state-of-the-art building opened in Shelton, CT.\nRanpak Holdings Corp. is a New York Stock Exchange listed company (NYSE: PACK).\nSummary\nThe Cost Accountant will analyze, process, maintain, and report transactions primarily involving fixed assets, inventory, general ledger, and machine costing.\nEssential Duties & Responsibilities\nPlanning, Studying, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory and labor.\nAccumulate and apply overhead costs as required by generally accepted accounting principles.\nAnalyzing actual manufacturing costs and preparing periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs.\nCoordinate, process and analyze production data monthly from ERP SAP system.\nSupport person to assist planners with closing production orders.\nDevelop reporting machine costs quarterly cadence.\nWork with Engineering/Product Management/Purchasing cost development new machines.\nManage Automation projects book/reconcile revenue recognition based on validation costs monthly.\nSet up/maintain internal projects for new product initiatives.\nProvide support Engineering to ensure labor hours are being booked to projects consistently and timely.\nCalculate, enter, and post transactions to the SAP General Ledger.\nProvide supporting schedules, reconciliations, and roll forward worksheets for various General Ledger Accounts.\nAccounting cross functional team member for item master additions/changes.\nAssist in the audit/reconciliation of the physical inventory with Operations.\nBackup to the Senior Cost Accountant.\nAssists with related special projects, as required.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Business Administration and or Accounting.\nExperience with SAP\nTeam player willing to assist others to work through issues to resolution.\n3-5 years related experience in cost accounting.\nCMA designation desired.\nMBA a plus.\nDetail-oriented.\nStrong computer proficiency.\nKnowledge or experience in SAP is a plus required to have working experience with MS Office (Excel).\nGood communication skills.\nAbility to multi-task.\nSupervisory Responsibilities\nNone\nEOE STATEMENT We are an equal employment opportunity employer.
