systems.\nDesign and implement distributed systems and microservices with a focus on scalability, availability, fault tolerance, and reliability.\nWork with SQL and NoSQL databases to design efficient data models and optimize application performance.\nBuild and maintain event-driven systems using message brokers such as Kafka.\nWrite clean, maintainable, well-tested, and production-ready code.\nIdentify and resolve performance, scalability, and reliability challenges.\nParticipate actively in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design decisions.\nCollaborate closely with product, engineering, AI/ML, and other cross-functional teams.\nEvaluate and adopt appropriate technologies and engineering practices to improve system performance and maintainability.\nContribute to building secure and reliable systems for US healthcare workflows and data.\n\nRequirements: \nBachelor's or master's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.\n3+ years of professional backend software development experience.\nStrong programming experience in one or more of Python, Go, or Node.js .\nStrong understanding of REST APIs and API design principles.\nHands-on experience with microservices and distributed systems.\nExperience working with SQL and NoSQL databases.\nExperience with message brokers/event-driven systems, preferably Kafka.\nExperience working with at least one major cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.\nHands-on experience with Docker and containerized applications.\nStrong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, clean code, testing, and debugging.\nStrong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nGood communication and collaboration skills.\n\nGood to Have: \nExperience building systems for the US healthcare industry.\nFamiliarity with healthcare standards such as HL7 FHIR and HIPAA.\nExperience integrating with EHR/EMR systems.\nFamiliarity with healthcare APIs and interoperability platforms.\nUnderstanding of healthcare workflows, clinical data, or revenue cycle management.\nExperience working with high-volume, low-latency backend systems.\nExperience with
