Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering, scientific and product management teams are essential.\nResponsibilities\nDesign, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software solutions for commercial products.\nIndependently deliver features from concept through deployment with minimal supervision.\nServe as the technical backup to the Software Architect, participating in architectural planning, technology selection, and design reviews.\nContribute to software architecture and ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure, and performant.\nDevelop front-end applications, back-end services, business logic, and database components.\nDesign and implement RESTful APIs and services\nCollaborate with Product Management and stakeholders to define requirements and ensure customer needs are met.\nDevelop and maintain Software Design Requirements (SDRs) and technical documentation.\nParticipate in code reviews and promote software engineering best practices across the team.\nBuild and maintain automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes.\nSupport both cloud and on-premises deployment environments.\nParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, retrospectives, and sprint demonstrations.\nCollaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams including software engineers, scientists, and product managers.\nRequired Technical Qualifications\nCandidates should demonstrate strong experience in most of the following areas:\nModern software architecture and design patterns\nFull-stack application development\nC# and .NET Core/.NET\nAngular and TypeScript\nSQL Server and relational database design\nEntity Framework or equivalent ORM technologies\nAuthentication and Authorization (OAuth, OpenID Connect, JWT, Identity, etc.)\nAsynchronous programming using Tasks, async/await, multithreading, and concurrent programming techniques\nRESTful API development and service-oriented architecture\nModern UI development practices\nAutomated unit and integration testing using frameworks such as xUnit or NUnit\nDocker containerization\nCI/CD pipeline implementation and DevOps practices\nGit source control and collaborative development workflows\nNetworking fundamentals and distributed applications\nCloud platforms (Azure preferred) and on-premises deployments\nDemonstrated experience developing production-quality software across the full technology stack.\nExperience using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, or similar) as an integral part of the software development workflow to accelerate development, automate engineering tasks, refine prompts, and improve code quality.\nDemonstrated ability to leverage AI-assisted and emerging agentic development workflows to enhance engineering productivity while exercising sound technical judgment and maintaining high standards for software quality, security, and maintainability.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nProven ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a small, highly collaborative engineering team.\nAbility to balance feature delivery with software quality, maintainability, and long-term architecture.\nDeep knowledge of Microsoft technologies. Linux OS knowledge a plus\nRequired Qualifications\nBS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Computer Engineering.\n8+ years of professional software development experience, including leading complex technical initiatives.\nDemonstrated experience developing production-quality software across the full technology stack.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.\nProven ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a highly collaborative engineering team.\nWorking Conditions\nHybrid work environment with a required on-site presence of three (3) days per week.
