We develop sports analytics products that are data-driven, portable and easy-to-use to empower athletes at all skill levels to analyse and improve their performance. From Major League Baseball star pitchers to Golf tour players, athletes use Rapsodo technology to up their game across the world. Trusted by coaches and players from youths to professionals, Rapsodo provides real-time insights for real-time performance.\nWe are innovative, focused, and rapidly growing. We are continuously looking for team players who will stop at nothing to deliver state-of-the-art solutions as part of Team Rapsodo.\nYou’ll sit with the R&D team validating our golf launch monitors. Your focus is the device itself, but our product is an end-to-end system - firmware on the hardware, a mobile app, and cloud services behind it - and you’ll need to understand how those parts relate in order to design tests that reflect how the product is actually used. This is hands-on test engineering on real hardware, not scripted QA.\nWhat You’ll Do\nBuild an understanding of how our embedded systems, mobile apps, and cloud services fit together, and use that context to design test cases that reflect real end-to-end behaviour rather than isolated device checks.\nBuild, maintain, and execute automated test cases using our robotic test setup, driving physical devices through repeatable scenarios.\nUse AI tools to help design test cases and analyse test results - identifying patterns across runs, narrowing down failures, and spotting coverage gaps.\nCoordinate and run end-user testing sessions with human testers, capturing results and feeding findings back to engineering.\nOptimise and automate our CI/CD pipelines so test coverage runs earlier, faster, and with less manual intervention.\nRequirements\nPursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similar.\nComfortable with Python or an equivalent scripting language.\nBasic Linux literacy - command line, logs, filesystem.\nCurious about how things break. The best validation engineers are the ones who want to know why a test failed, not just that it did.\nAble to communicate clearly in writing - test reports and bug reports are a large part of the job.","description_format":"text","description_chars":2329,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":{"level":"bachelor","optional":false},"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Sports Analytics","Sporting Goods"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-12T11:55:42Z"}],"visa":[],"liveness":{"score":86,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":1,"p_active":0.86,"p_room":1,"age_days":0,"expected_fill_days":111,"reasons":["conf:5","win:early","comp:junior"],"computed_at":"2026-10-12T17:04:37Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/rapsodo-rd-intern-validation","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/rapsodo-rd-intern-validation.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-12T17:04:37Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":27214,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-13T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":686461},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=686461"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Frapsodo-rd-intern-validation"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Frapsodo-rd-intern-validation"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Frapsodo-rd-intern-validation"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/rapsodo-rd-intern-validation\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Frapsodo-rd-intern-validation"}]}
