Your work will directly impact developing and maintaining our distributed intelligence system for ASRS and pick-assist robots. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining critical components such as:\nBehavior Controllers:\nGlobal and local controllers that govern decision-making for a fleet of autonomous robots.\nPath Planning Systems:\nPlanners and executors that manage and dictate robot traffic.\nTask Allocation Strategies:\nDifferent strategies and their optimizations to ensure efficient task distribution.\n Distributed Intelligence Framework:\nProduction-grade open-source framework (ALICA) used for coordinating multiple robots.\nAdditionally, you will:\nCollaborate & Review:\nPerform architecture and code reviews with team members.\nContribute to a collaborative and continuous improvement environment.\nImprove Processes:\nIdentify and recommend enhancements to engineering processes.\nSolve Customer Challenges:\nTackle challenging problems as our customer base grows.\nUser-Focused Development:\nUnderstand user needs and ensure that the delivered solutions provide tangible value.\nRequirements\nMinimum Qualifications\nEducation:\nBachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Robotics, or a related technical field.\n Technical Skills:\nStrong fundamentals in algorithm design, problem-solving, and complexity analysis.\nProficient in object-oriented programming (OOP) and multi-threading.\n Experience with C++ (C++11 or above).\nExperience:\nAt least 3 years of corporate or research experience in Software Engineering or Robotics.\nPreferred Qualifications\n Additional Technologies:\nExperience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and Python.\nLibraries & Frameworks:\nFamiliarity with SMACH, Behavior Tree, and RosPlan.\nSpecialized Experience:\nBackground in multiagent systems, constraint programming, or
