This role combines hands-on engineering with technical ownership of delivery pipelines, observability, and security practices, ensuring Rasan's fintech and Insurtech platforms are scalable, secure, and highly available.\nJob Objectives\n· Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure that supports Rasan's digital platforms.\n§ Automate build, test, deployment, and infrastructure provisioning to enable fast, reliable, and repeatable software delivery.\n§ Ensure platform reliability, performance, and security through strong observability, incident response, and compliance practices.\n§ Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and security teams to improve delivery speed and operational excellence, while mentoring fellow engineers.\nJob Responsibilities\nInfrastructure & Cloud Platform\n· Design, provision, and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform) across production and non-production environments.\n· Manage and operate containerized workloads on Kubernetes, including cluster configuration, scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.\n· Design for high availability, disaster recovery, and capacity planning to meet the demands of high-traffic digital platforms.\n· Optimize cloud resource usage and cost through monitoring, right-sizing, and governance practices.\nCI/CD & Automation\n· Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, security scanning, and deployment for multiple services and teams.\n· Drive release engineering best practices, including environment promotion, rollbacks, and zero-downtime deployments.\n· Automate operational tasks and configuration management through scripting and tooling to reduce manual effort and risk.\n· Continuously improve developer experience by standardizing pipelines, templates, and self-service tooling.\nReliability, Observability & Incident Management\n· Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting to provide end-to-end visibility into system health and performance.\n· Define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets in partnership with engineering teams.\n· Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and post-incident reviews, translating lessons into lasting improvements.\n· Participate in on-call rotations and maintain runbooks and operational documentation.\nSecurity & Compliance\n· Embed security into pipelines and infrastructure (DevSecOps), including vulnerability scanning, secrets management, and access control.\n· Apply least-privilege, network segmentation, and hardening practices across cloud and container environments.\n· Support compliance with applicable regulatory and information security requirements for financial services and insurance platforms in Saudi Arabia.\n· Maintain audit-ready configurations, change records, and infrastructure documentation.\nCollaboration & Leadership\n· Partner with software engineers, QA, product, and security teams to deliver reliable releases and resolve cross-team technical issues.\n· Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, share knowledge, and promote DevOps culture and best practices.\n· Evaluate emerging tools and technologies, recommending adoption where they add value to reliability, speed, or cost.\nJob Requirements\nEducational Qualification\nBachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nLicenses & Certifications\nCloud certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP), Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or HashiCorp Terraform certification are a plus.\nPrevious Work Experience\n· Bring 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, site reliability, or cloud infrastructure engineering, including experience in a senior or technical lead capacity.\n· Demonstrate experience designing and operating production systems on a major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).\n· Demonstrate a track record of building CI/CD pipelines and automating infrastructure for high-traffic, business-critical applications.\n· Bring experience in fintech, Insurtech, or another regulated, fast-paced digital environment as an advantage.\n· Experience working in on-premises environments (e.g., bare-metal Kubernetes, virtualization, data center networking) is preferred.\nSkills and Abilities\n· Demonstrate strong proficiency in Infrastructure as Code and configuration management tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent.\n· Demonstrate hands-on experience with containers and orchestration, including Docker and Kubernetes.\n· Demonstrate strong experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.\n· Demonstrate strong scripting and automation skills in Python, Bash, or similar languages.\n· Demonstrate practical experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or Datadog.\n· Demonstrate a strong understanding of Linux, networking, security fundamentals, and cloud architecture best practices.\n· Demonstrate strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.\n· Fluent in Arabic and English (written and
