Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will make sure that our internal IT systems and processes enable colleagues to collaborate effectively and do their best work.\nYou will be accountable for organisation-wide cyber security, including formulating and implementing business continuity and disaster recovery plans, and compliance with local regulation in the markets we operate, specifically NIST CSF 2.0 in the US and Cyber Essentials Plus in the UK.\nYou will take the lead in identifying and delivering improvements across the IT function that enable it and the whole organisation.\nYou will lead a talented team of IT professionals, who you will coach and develop to provide outstanding business partnership and help drive forward our mission\nYou will be skilled in managing change processes and building organisation-wide support. You will be an effective negotiator and used to managing a wide portfolio of operational contracts and projects.\nResponsibilities\nDevelop the service offering and capability of the IT support function at the Foundation\nEnsure that the Foundation has all necessary IT and business systems in place to deliver its objectives.\nOwn the cyber security strategy, with regular audits and testing\nOwn the Global IT Policy and ensure it is up to date and in line with current legislation and best practice.\nProactively identify opportunities to improve the range of IT tools and business systems as the organisation’s priorities develop\nOversee and maintain robust IT infrastructure and cybersecurity frameworks, ensuring continuous alignment with NIST CSF 2.0, Cyber Essentials Plus, and emerging AI security standards.\nContribute to the organisation’s data strategies, including next steps in our data infrastructure, integration, and analysis \nResponsible for the procurement of services, contract management and liaising with third party suppliers\nOversee IT onboarding and training\nKeep up to date with developments in relevant legislation, including data protection \nDevelop and manage the IT annual budget and plans\nCoach, develop and manage the performance of the team\nExperience and personal attributes\nYou should have:\nExperience managing and developing IT services and systems, including SaaS solutions \nDemonstrated success overseeing multi-site and international IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalable operations\nStrong understanding of information and cyber security, ideally including one or all of Cyber Essentials Plus, ISO 27001 or NIST CSF 2.0\nA focus on user experience and demonstrable ability to interpret business requirements in order to successfully deliver IT and business system improvement projects\nOutstanding interpersonal skills, including the capacity to adapt your communication style to different stakeholder audiences and to liaise with external partners\nExperience managing budgets\nExperience leading a team, coaching and developing people and managing performance through giving and receiving feedback\nStrong understanding of GDPR and other regulatory frameworks\nIdeally you’ll also have:\nExperience of working in an International organisation\nExperience using a range of systems including G Suite and Salesforce\nExperience of procurement and contract management\nFamiliarity with business intelligence and visualisation tools\nAbout us\nThe Raspberry Pi Foundation is an independent charity with a global mission to enable all young people to realise their full potential through the power of computing and digital technologies.\nWe empower schools to teach computer science and AI literacy through free curricula, classroom resources, purpose built software tools, and professional development for teachers.
