These technologies have enabled a growing pipeline of novel therapeutic candidates.\nWe are looking for talented, dedicated, and creative individuals to help advance these technologies from discovery through clinical development.\nAbout the Position\nRatio is seeking a Facilities Engineer to support the buildout and phased expansion of our new radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facility in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area (West Valley City, Utah) and to support GMP manufacturing operations once the site is operational.\nInitially, this role will focus on facility construction, startup, and commissioning with particular emphasis on HVAC, cleanroom performance, and building systems controls. Over time, the Facilities Engineer will serve as a key technical resource for maintaining facility and utility systems, coordinating upgrades, supporting capital projects, and managing external service providers.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead HVAC test and balance activities and ISO certification\nManage facility and utility systems\nManage external providers of essential facility services such as janitorial and pest control\nSupport cleanroom commissioning and qualification activities\nMaintain asset and system master data within the computerized maintenance management system (CMMS)\nDevelop and manage preventive maintenance and calibration schedules for facility and utility systems\nLead troubleshooting and repair activities for facility and utility systems, including oversight of third-party contractors\nRevise and maintain facility documentation, including P&IDs, mechanical drawings, and related system records\nMonitor and evaluate system performance through the building automation system (BAS)\nIdentify and help manage critical spare parts for facility and utility systems\nParticipate in quality systems activities, including change controls, CAPAs, deviations, and investigations\nPartner with EHS and Radiation Safety to ensure facility safety systems are functioning as required\nPlan and coordinate periodic site shutdown activities\nSupport facility improvement projects and site readiness activities as operations expand\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent military or technical training\n5+ years of relevant experience in HVAC and cleanroom commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, or support\nFamiliarity with cleanroom operations and classified manufacturing spaces\nExperience supporting facility or utility systems in a regulated or industrial environment\nWorking knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and facility documentation practices\nAbility to work safely in a manufacturing environment\nStrong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a practical, solution-oriented approach\nStrong communication skills with the ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nComfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with both strategic and hands-on responsibilities\nPreferred Qualifications\nDirect experience supporting capital projects\nExperience in a GMP-regulated environment\nExperience with CMMS platforms and BAS tools\nExperience supporting radiopharmaceutical, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other highly regulated manufacturing operations\nThe annual base salary for this role is expected to range between $90,000 and $120,000. This range is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting.
