You will play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting store sales goals and maintaining a welcoming retail environment.\nPosition Summary\nThe Sales Associate provides outstanding customer service by assisting customers with product selection, answering questions, and sharing product knowledge. This position is responsible for helping drive sales, maintaining store presentation standards, and supporting daily retail operations.\nThe ideal candidate is energetic, customer-focused, and passionate about sports. They possess strong communication skills and enjoy building relationships with customers while delivering a positive shopping experience.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nAssist customers with product selection using effective sales and customer service techniques.\nDevelop and maintain knowledge of Rawlings products, including features, specifications, pricing, styles, colors, and product history.\nProvide accurate information and recommendations to customers based on their needs.\nMeet or exceed individual and store sales goals.\nMaintain merchandise displays and ensure products are properly stocked and organized.\nOperate the point-of-sale system and process transactions accurately.\nHelp maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.\nSupport inventory management activities as needed.\nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nQualifications, Required Skills, and Experience\nHigh school diploma or GED preferred.\nMinimum of three (3) months of experience in retail, sales, customer service, or a related field.\nStrong communication and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent organizational skills and attention to detail.\nProfessional, friendly, and outgoing demeanor.\nAbility to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.\nBasic math and cash-handling skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBilingual skills are a plus.\nKnowledge of baseball and softball equipment preferred.\nPhysical Requirements\nAbility to stand and walk for extended periods.\nAbility to lift and carry merchandise up to 25 pounds.\nAbility to bend, reach, stoop, and perform other physical activities common in a retail environment.\nWorking Conditions\nThis position operates in a retail store environment and requires flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.\nThis job description is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties, responsibilities, or qualifications associated with the position.
