Job Title:R&D Product Engineer, Bats Supervises: None Department: R&D Reports to: VP R&D/Engineering Location: Thousand Oaks, CA FLSA: Exempt General Overview: Under general direction of the VP R&D Engineering, and in accordance with applicable policies and procedures, the role is responsible for development, design, and testing of Rawlings/Easton bat products. Duties and Responsibilities: Work with a team to design bat products including:Aluminum bats Composite bats Product testing Material evaluation Component design Ability to work on multiple projects within a fast-paced stage-gate environment. Drive team to innovative industry leading products Actively implement continuous improvement Communicate design and direct manufacturing partner team efforts. Direct fabrication and testing of prototypes Defines the performance and durability specifications for all new products and product refinements as necessary for accurate prototyping, tooling, and manufacturing. Collaborates with vendors to ensure capabilities, processes, and procedures are up to date and able to satisfy demand.
