Lead the early-stage rollout of new initiatives, working hands-on with participants and outside partners. You will build employer relationships, capture repeatable processes in writing, and create your own lightweight tooling to measure performance.\nWhat you'll do\n- Take new training initiatives from early concept through to their first cohort of participants.\n- Run a new employment-focused initiative and be accountable for its outcomes from start to finish.\n- Win over one or two hiring partners for each initiative and keep those relationships productive over time.\n- Spend time directly with a small group of participants to understand what helps them reach a first paycheck, and spot weak points before scaling.\n- Document each initiative in a clear operating guide so others can run it and product teams can build from it.\n- Create your own automations, reports and dashboards using AI coding assistants, no-code platforms and spreadsheets.\n- Monitor key funnel metrics from enrollment through hiring and give a weekly update on progress and problem areas.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- At least 3 years of operations experience in an early-stage startup.\n- A background as a founder, consultant or very early team member at a startup.\n- Experience starting a new offering, line of business or market from scratch and owning the results.\n- Hands-on experience serving people directly, for example in education, coaching, community or social work.\n- Comfort meeting employers in person and by phone, including unsolicited outreach, and converting early conversations into lasting hiring relationships.\n- Experience creating your own tools or automations with AI assistants, no-code software or spreadsheets, and an example to show.\n- Ability to work on-site five days a week in New York City.\n- Willingness and ability to work 60+ hours per week.\nBonus points\n- Experience in partnerships or business development, including forming non-monetary agreements.\n- Experience at a job training or placement organization with an outcome-based
