Join as Corporate Counsel and take ownership of commercial contracting as the first dedicated in-house attorney. This is a hands-on legal role working with leadership and cross-functional teams.\nWhat you'll do\n- Draft, review, negotiate, and redline commercial agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, data licenses, adjacent legal needs, including employment-related issues, as the business grows.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- 3 to 6 years of relevant legal experience.\n- A JD and active California bar admission.\n- Strong commercial contract drafting and negotiation experience.\n- In-house experience at an early-stage or growing startup.\n- Comfort using AI tools in legal workflows.\n- Practical judgment and willingness to take on adjacent legal work.\nBonus points\n- Technology or data licensing experience.\n- Employment law, contractor classification, or offer-letter experience.\n- Law-firm training followed by in-house experience.\nBenefits\nCompensation and benefits\n- Base salary: USD 225,000 to 250,000 per year.\n- Equity: Competitive equity.\n- Bonus tied to company performance.\n-
