Own the visual and interaction quality of a web application by building polished, detailed user interfaces in code. Work closely with company leadership, the product team and frontend engineers to refine key user flows and roll out a refreshed brand across the product. The role offers a path toward leading the design function over time.\nWhat you'll do\n- Build polished, detailed interfaces with hands-on frontend implementation.\n- Refine information architecture and core user flows across the product.\n- Design and implement micro-interactions such as icon animations and loading states.\n- Raise the level of visual detail and craft throughout the application.\n- Apply a refreshed brand across all product surfaces together with frontend engineers.\n- Take part in regular design reviews with the team.\n- Grow toward ownership of the design function.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- Production-grade frontend experience with React and TypeScript.\n- A portfolio or work sample showing a high level of polish and craft, in a range of styles including minimalist or graphic-design-led.\n- Prior work showing close attention to micro-interactions and frontend polish.\n- Experience with data-heavy business or developer-facing products, with a portfolio featuring complex table and form based dashboards.\n- Hands-on experience with micro-interaction work.\n- A track record of spending most of your time building and shipping frontend code, rather than design-only or prototyping work.\n- A background at product organizations known for their emphasis on quality design.\n- Willingness to work on-site 5 days a week in New York.\nBonus
