Lead product and brand design while also building interface components in code. Establish the visual language and shared design system, and help set up a design function from the ground up, working closely with company leadership.\nWhat you'll do\n- Own product design from concept to release, shaping experiences for how people collaborate on content and work alongside AI tools.\n- Create marketing and storytelling content such as social assets, landing pages and video.\n- Define a visual language spanning product and marketing, including typography, color, layout, motion and tone of voice.\n- Turn that visual language into a design system with components, tokens, documentation and code-first tooling used by both engineers and AI systems.\n- Set up the processes that let the engineering team ship quickly while keeping a high design standard.\n- Use the company's own products daily and talk with users to find and remove friction.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- 5+ years of experience in design and front-end work.\n- A background as an early hire on a small design team, ideally the person who established design practices from scratch.\n- Hands-on work across both product interfaces and marketing visuals for a software or developer-focused business.\n- Has built and maintained production UI directly rather than only handing specs to engineers.\n- Deep Figma skills and a portfolio that demonstrates design system work.\n- Front-end fluency with Storybook and Tailwind, able to build and own components in code.\n- Based in San Francisco or willing to relocate.\n- Comfortable working in the office five days a week at the start, then moving to a hybrid schedule.\nBonus points\n- Experience designing for developers or other technical buyers.\nBenefits\nCompensation and benefits\n- Base salary: USD 175,000 to 230,000 per
