Lead a product engineering group while staying close to the code, setting technical direction and coaching engineers. Partner with product and cross-functional colleagues to plan and deliver the roadmap, and raise the bar for engineering quality.\nWhat you'll do\n- Manage, mentor and support the career growth of the software engineers on your team.\n- Work with product and other functions to shape and deliver the technical roadmap.\n- Stay hands-on, devoting a meaningful share of your week to coding, code reviews and architecture.\n- Guide key architectural decisions so systems stay scalable, performant and maintainable.\n- Promote strong standards for code quality, testing and documentation.\n- Build a culture of ownership and excellence within the team.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- 7 to 15 years of engineering experience, with a strong individual contributor foundation and demonstrated people leadership.\n- Willingness to go through a rigorous technical assessment and to code regularly in the role.\n- Proficiency in React, TypeScript and Python.\n- Experience in startup environments, with early-stage experience viewed positively.\n- A stable track record, averaging at least 2 to 3 years per role.\n- Comfort using AI tooling within everyday engineering workflows.\n- Customer-facing product experience.\n- A teaching mindset and a habit of leading by example.\n- Residence in the US, availability during US working hours and willingness to make occasional customer visits.\nBonus points\n- Experience with Kotlin or Go.\n- Exposure to cloud infrastructure, containers, infrastructure as code and automated delivery pipelines.\nBenefits\nCompensation and benefits\n-
