Serve as an early infrastructure hire, owning cloud environments and delivery pipelines for a growing technical team. Work closely with the existing infrastructure engineer to strengthen current systems and deliver new projects as the organization scales.\nWhat you'll do\n- Own and extend the cloud footprint, including compute, networking, access management, storage and observability.\n- Keep infrastructure reproducible and reviewable through infrastructure-as-code tooling.\n- Run CI/CD pipelines end to end, improving reliability, speed and developer experience.\n- Work alongside the existing infrastructure engineer to execute on current architecture and remove blockers for engineering and research teams.\n- Keep systems healthy through monitoring and incident handling, while managing spend and tightening security across container orchestration environments.\n- Take on special projects such as new services, environments and tooling as the team grows.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- Around 7 years of infrastructure engineering experience.\n- Deep, recent cloud experience running production workloads.\n- Strong ownership of infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD.\n- Background at a company with a very high engineering bar or a fast-moving startup.\n- Solid engineering fundamentals and the ability to write and ship production code.\n- Currently based in the Bay Area.\nBonus points\n- Experience with machine learning infrastructure.\n- Experience in research-heavy environments or
