Join a team of transactional lawyers handling commercial property matters from preliminary planning to completion and the follow-up that comes afterward. The role suits an attorney with several years of practice who can manage their own workstreams and communicate clearly with senior colleagues and clients.\nWhat you'll do\n- Oversee commercial property matters at every step, from preliminary term negotiations to the final signing and funding.\n- Lead diligence workstreams, including reviewing title and survey materials and resolving title issues.\n- Draft and negotiate term sheets, purchase agreements and related transaction documents.\n- Obtain approvals from government bodies, lenders and other third parties, including land use matters.\n- Coordinate with senior attorneys and a wider practice group on client matters.\n- Handle closings and post-closing obligations, and help develop client relationships.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- Three to five years of real estate transactional practice.\n- Experience handling deals end to end, from structuring through closing.\n- Admission to the Colorado bar, or admission expected within about a month.\n- Graduation from an accredited US law school.\n- A consistent employment history.\n- Ability to work in a hybrid arrangement.\nBonus points\n- Experience with land use or zoning matters.\n- Background in property lending, financing arrangements or leasing work.\n- Familiarity with Colorado real estate recording and transfer requirements.\n- Experience with 1031 exchanges or joint venture structuring.\n- Experience at a smaller or independent law firm.\nBenefits\nCompensation and benefits\n- Base salary: USD 225,000 to 245,000 per year\n-
