Take full ownership of a product area, guiding it from early research through launch and ongoing refinement. You will partner daily with engineers, designers and commercial colleagues, and this is a hands-on individual contributor position rather than a people management one.\nWhat you'll do\n- Lead a product area from initial customer research through planning, release and follow-up improvements.\n- Act as the link between engineering, design and business teams, translating user needs into clear specifications and informing technical design choices.\n- Create early working prototypes with AI-assisted coding tools so engineers start from something tangible.\n- Define measurable goals for each initiative and keep refining until targets are met.\n- Collaborate with sales and customer success colleagues on positioning and on supporting active deals.\n- Travel within the country to customer locations roughly monthly, with occasional added trips around major milestones.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- 5 to 10 years in product management or a closely related discipline, such as forward-deployed engineering, as an individual contributor.\n- Currently working as a founder or product manager, and in that position for at least 1 year.\n- Background in business-focused subscription software at an early-stage or scaling company, with a history of delivering under tight resources and fast timelines.\n- A track record of taking a brand-new product or capability from nothing to launch, beyond maintaining an existing backlog.\n- Enough technical depth to build prototypes with AI-assisted tools, navigate source code and take part in design discussions.\n- Hands-on work with external system connections and partner interfaces.\n- Concise, clear written documentation that helps teams make decisions.\n- Located in the United States and authorized to work without visa sponsorship.\n- Willingness to travel domestically about once a month.\nBonus points\n- Prior work in a regulated sector such as financial services, insurance or healthcare.\n- An earlier career in software engineering or customer-embedded engineering before moving into product.\n- A technical university degree.\n- Familiarity with large language model concepts and having released AI-driven functionality to users.\n- Comfort with data analysis, building reports and using metrics to guide post-launch improvements.\n- Experience as a startup founder.\nBenefits\nCompensation and benefits\n-
