Maintain, extend and build internal software tools for an investment research team, working closely with the team lead on full-stack web applications, database systems and automation scripts. The role spans end-to-end feature ownership and gradually broadens into more scope over time.\nWhat you'll do\n- Maintain and extend existing internal software and database systems used by the research team.\n- Build new internal tools from scratch for investment research workflows.\n- Own the design and architecture of the features you deliver, from interface to data layer.\n- Write scripts and automations to streamline recurring research tasks.\n- Partner daily with the team lead on priorities and technical direction.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- Working fluency in Python for writing small utility programs and workflow tooling.\n- Experience shipping production TypeScript and React features end to end, not only on the backend.\n- Solid working knowledge of SQL-based data stores used in live systems, including schema design and dependable queries.\n- Ownership mindset over the design and architecture of the features you ship.\n- A bachelor's degree in computer science with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.\n- Self-directed, detail-oriented and efficient, with a desire to grow within a small team.\nBonus points\n- Hands-on exposure to connecting large language model services to software that runs multi-step processes.\n- Background in finance, fintech or quantitative work, including a major or minor in undergrad.\n- Exposure to cloud hosting and
