Own the reliability, performance and cost of a company's production cloud infrastructure, from architecture and database operations to setting the standards the engineering team works to. Advise leadership on early-stage infrastructure choices as the platform scales.\nWhat you'll do\n- Design and evolve cloud architecture on AWS.\n- Run production database operations, including sizing, replication and recovery.\n- Set and maintain reliability standards for production systems.\n- Improve the performance and cost efficiency of live infrastructure.\n- Advise the team on which languages and databases to adopt early on.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- Deep AWS expertise.\n- Hands-on experience tuning and operating PostgreSQL in production.\n- Experience building cloud infrastructure from scratch, provisioning resources directly rather than only using existing internal tools.\n- Proven results improving response times or spend in running environments, with support for time-sensitive workloads.\n- Daily use of AI coding tools in infrastructure work, or a willingness to learn them.\nBonus points\n- Prior experience reworking the design of a live system to handle
