With more than $71 million raised and a compact 20-person team, the company is at a rare point where strong traction meets a wide-open product and design language.\nThe role and why it matters\nThis is a founding design seat with direct access to product leadership, founders, and engineering. You will define how an AI-native product feels, how users direct and trust an agent, and what excellent generated work looks like across the customer journey.\nWhat you'll do\nOwn the core experience for requesting, shaping, reviewing, editing, and publishing agent-generated work.\nInvent new interaction models for an AI product rather than inheriting a mature design system.\nSet the visual and creative quality bar for both the interface and the agent's output.\nPartner closely with engineering to improve defaults, constraints, evaluations, brand adherence, and feedback loops.\nShape product strategy with founders and product leadership, then prototype and refine ideas quickly.\nMove fluidly from product architecture and systems thinking to detailed interaction and visual decisions.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\nAt least 5 years of product design experience with a strong record of shipping products people use.\nA portfolio that demonstrates exceptional visual craft and novel zero-to-one work, not only assembled design-system screens.\nExperience in an early-stage or breakout startup, ideally in B2B SaaS, productivity software, or applied AI.\nGenuine enthusiasm for AI as a design medium and active use of modern AI tools in your work.\nHigh ownership, sound judgment, urgency, and comfort working directly with founders and engineers.\nAbility and willingness to work in the New York City office five days per week.\nBonus points\nExperience as a founding or sole designer at a venture-backed startup.\nA high-slope career path with rapid progression or recognition from a strong design fellowship.\nExperience designing creative tools, agent workflows, or AI-generated outputs.\nBenefits\n$200K-$260K base salary.\nCompetitive equity.\nVisa transfers may be considered for candidates who already hold valid U.S. work authorization.
