Act as a senior hands-on engineer who guides the technical vision for brand-new software offerings. Take responsibility for system design and live operation, lead early builds from idea to release, and lift the skills of experienced colleagues along the way.\nWhat you'll do\n- Lead system design for new offerings that are being built from the ground up.\n- Convert company goals into multi-quarter engineering plans.\n- Guide new offerings from first concept through initial release.\n- Be answerable for how production systems behave, covering stability, speed and day-to-day operations.\n- Coach experienced engineers and raise the overall quality bar for the team.\n- Make progress in situations where the goals and the approach are both still unclear.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- Solid full-stack engineering skills, with TypeScript and React in particular.\n- Hands-on experience with AI, or clear examples of using coding assistants to speed up your own work.\n- Has owned design and product choices for a released customer-facing application and can discuss the compromises involved.\n- Has been the hands-on technical lead for a small group delivering a new product from scratch at a startup or growth-stage company.\n- Proven ability to guide technical decisions through persuasion rather than formal authority while remaining an individual contributor.\n- Experience steering the technical course of a well-regarded product from its early days.\n- Clear reasoning, practical judgment, and the ability to explain technical topics to audiences both inside and outside engineering.\nBonus points\n- Background at an early-stage company creating
