Serve as a senior technical leader who guides design decisions and engineering direction for a major part of a software platform. Take on the toughest technical challenges, collaborate with leaders across engineering and product, and help lift the quality bar across several teams.\nWhat you'll do\n- Guide system design and long-term technical strategy for a major platform domain, covering either data-heavy backend infrastructure or AI-driven product work.\n- Take the lead on the most difficult engineering challenges, weighing build, buy and cost options that affect the wider organization.\n- Define shared conventions and best practices that help multiple teams deliver better work and help other engineers be more effective.\n- Work with product and engineering executives so that technical choices support business priorities.\n- Apply modern AI coding assistants routinely when designing, debugging and delivering solutions.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- 8+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a record of steadily growing scope and responsibility.\n- Hands-on history running high-traffic, scalable backend systems in production.\n- Startup or early-stage experience;
