Lead client engagements and the specialist contributors who deliver them, taking projects from initial scoping through to completion. The role combines project management, hands-on operational work and some responsibility for commercial results in a fast-paced setting.\nWhat you'll do\n- Oversee client projects from scoping through delivery, keeping scope, timelines and quality on track.\n- Coordinate contributors with specialized expertise across technical and professional fields to produce high-quality work at scale.\n- Write specifications that set the content and quality standards for project deliverables.\n- Contribute to the commercial results of client work.\n- Support a range of internal operational initiatives, moving between building, analysis, coordination and execution as needed.\nRequirements\nWhat we're looking for\n- Hands-on professional experience as an engineer, beyond internships.\n- Experience in chemical, biomedical or life-sciences engineering, such as process design, medical devices or drug development.\n- Ability to explain your reasoning and justify changes in direction with data and evidence.\n- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco, California.\n- Demonstrated top-tier achievement, such as patents, publications, professional licensing exams or strong academic or professional results.\nBonus points\n- Background spanning more than one technical or scientific discipline.\n- Postgraduate credentials, such as a master's, doctorate or medical degree, in a technical or scientific discipline.\n- Hands-on programming or scripting ability, or familiarity with computational modelling software used for analysis.\n- Experience working with CAD, circuits or chips.\n-
