This role provides hands-on exposure to civil engineering projects and offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced engineers on real-world site development and infrastructure projects.\nThe Civil Designer Intern will assist with preparing design drawings, performing technical calculations, supporting field activities, and contributing to project documentation under the guidance of senior engineering staff.\nThis position is ideal for students currently pursuing a degree in civil engineering who are interested in gaining practical experience in design, engineering analysis, and project development.\nKey Responsibilities:\nEngineering & Technical Support\nAssist engineers with research, design tasks, and technical project support\n\nSupport the preparation of engineering drawings, plan sets, and design documentation\n\nPerform calculations and basic analysis consistent with civil engineering principles\n\nAssist with hydrology and hydraulics analysis where applicable\n\nMaintain documentation of calculations, drawings, and project communications\nDesign & Drafting\nAssist in developing engineering drawings, site plans, details, and sections\n\nSupport drafting activities using Autodesk Civil 3D\n\nContribute to the preparation of technical reports and project documentation\nField & Project Support\nParticipate in field activities such as site inspections, surveying support, and data collection\n\nAssist with construction-related services when required\n\nCoordinate with project team members and communicate design results and progress updates\nTeam Collaboration\nWork collaboratively with project teams to support successful project delivery\n\nCommunicate effectively with engineers and team members\n\nManage time effectively to meet project schedules and deadlines\n\nDemonstrate adaptability and willingness to learn new tools and skills\nQualifications\nCurrently enrolled in a Civil Engineering degree program\n\nStrong interest in civil engineering design and infrastructure projects\n\nStrong math, science, and analytical skills\n\nInterest in engineering design, drafting, and technical problem solving\n\nExperience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)\n\nInterest in or exposure to Autodesk Civil 3D preferred\n\nInterest in hydrology and hydraulics software is a plus\nWhat You’ll Gain\nHands-on
