This position follows a hybrid work schedule based in St. Petersburg, FL.Job Description\nThis position follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week at the St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office location.\nPlease note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.\nResponsibilities\nLead the architecture, design, and implementation of secure, scalable, and resilient AWS solutions supporting enterprise Financial Crimes applications.\n\nDesign cloud-native applications, enterprise data platforms, and integration solutions using modern microservices, serverless, event-driven, and API-based architectures.\n\nDevelop and optimize enterprise data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration frameworks supporting analytics, reporting, and operational workloads.\n\nDefine cloud architecture standards, security controls, networking, observability, resiliency, and operational best practices while promoting Infrastructure as Code and DevOps automation.\n\nCollaborate with application, data, infrastructure, security, and business teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.\n\nProvide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design guidance, code reviews, mentoring, and adoption of engineering best practices.\n\nRequired Skills & Qualifications\nExtensive experience designing and implementing enterprise solutions on AWS, including cloud architecture, application development, and data engineering.\n\nStrong knowledge of AWS services including compute, storage, networking, security, analytics, integration, and serverless technologies (e.g., S3, Redshift, Lambda, Glue, Step Functions, IAM, VPC, KMS, EMR, Athena, SageMaker, Kafka/MSK).\n\nExperience designing cloud-native, microservices, serverless, and event-driven architectures using modern software engineering principles.\n\nStrong experience building enterprise data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, data integration frameworks, and data warehousing solutions utilizing Medallion Architecture.\n\nProficiency in Python, SQL, REST APIs, cloud integration patterns, and modern software development practices, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code.\n\nStrong understanding of AWS security, networking, monitoring, disaster recovery, and operational excellence following the AWS Well-Architected Framework.\n\nDemonstrated ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architecture decisions, solve complex technical challenges, and mentor engineering teams.\n\nAbility To\nCommunicate complex technical concepts effectively to both technical and business audiences.\n\nLead architecture discussions and influence strategic technology decisions across multiple teams.\n\nAnalyze complex problems and develop secure, scalable, and maintainable technical solutions.\n\nBuild collaborative relationships across engineering, architecture, infrastructure, security, and business organizations.\n\nBalance strategic architecture responsibilities with hands-on implementation and delivery.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAWS Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional certification.\n\nExperience with container platforms (Docker, ECS, Kubernetes/EKS), modern analytics technologies, and streaming platforms such as Kafka or Kinesis.\n\nExperience in financial services, Financial Crimes, AML, fraud detection, or other highly regulated environments.\n\nExperience integrating enterprise applications with third-party cloud platforms and SaaS solutions.\n\n Education\nBachelor’s (Required)Work Experience\nGeneral Experience - 10 to 15 yearsCertifications\nTravel\nLess than 25% Workstyle\nHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, andmay include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
