Partnering closely with Human Resources and teams across the firm, this individual will develop and implement communication strategies that deepen associates’ understanding of the firm’s culture, business priorities and company vision. The manager will translate complex information into relevant, accessible messaging and deliver communications across a variety of channels, helping clients achieve their objectives while ensuring communications are thoughtful, consistent and aligned with the firm’s broader priorities. This individual will be a proactive, solutions-oriented partner who exercises sound judgment, makes informed decisions and brings strong project management skills to effectively manage multiple priorities and initiatives.Job Description\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nProvides strategic direction, message development, and communication planning primarily for Human Resources, but also other internal departments as needed\nUses strong storytelling abilities to enhance associate engagement and build greater understanding of the firm’s priorities, culture and vision.\nConsults with stakeholders to identify communications goals and objectives; executes solutions for high-impact projects/initiatives.\nProvides detailed tactical support and oversees communication plans\nPartner effectively to provide strategic communications counsel and advice\nDevelop written and visual communications for a variety of channels\nMonitors channel absorption; prepares reports for management from metrics and other data, recommends channel content alterations and improvements\nManages the implementation of communication projects\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned\nEstablishes and maintains relationships throughout the firm\nEffectively represent firm's values and communication principles within meetings\nKnowledge of:\nCommunication strategies and tactics\nConcepts, principles, practices, and techniques for writing and developing communications plans and related content\nMicrosoft Outlook suite\nCanva\nFinancial industry experience is not required, but a benefit\nSkills and Competencies:\nCreative and technical writing\nVisual communications\nStorytelling\nAttend to detail while maintaining a big picture orientation\nA continuous improvement mindset\nProactive and self-starting\nAbility to think logically, analyze and solve problems\nManage confidential firm information prior to internal or public release\nMake independent decisions when appropriate\nInfluence decision making and action when appropriate\nFacilitate meetings, ensuring that all viewpoints, ideas, and problems are addressed\nIncorporate needs, wants, and goals from different business unit perspectives into communications plans, while being an advocate for audiences and communications best practices.\nOrganize, manage, and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment\nProvide a high level of customer service\nEducation\nBachelor’s - Completed: Communications, Bachelor’s - Completed: Marketing, Bachelor’s - Completed: Public RelationsWork Experience\nGeneral Experience - 3 to 6 yearsCertifications\nTravel\nLess than 25% Workstyle\nHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, andmay include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
