Guidance is provided to perform varied, complex reporting functions with responsibility for making non-routine decisions. Evaluation, originality and ingenuity are required to locate, select, apply and justify appropriate action for situations and circumstances that require a deviation from standard procedures. Resolves moderately complex problems. Regular contact with internal customers is required to identify, research, and resolve cost allocation issues.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nPrepares firm economic models to assist in advisor recruiting decisions\nPrepares compensation pro-formas for recruited advisors as well as internal transfers and advisors exploring other compensation options\nPrepares management reports in a format that can be quickly reviewed by management.\nIdentifies costs and develops methodology for accurate allocation across the organization.\nPrepares organization-wide surveys using various financial tools and resources and reviews results with management.\nReviews, evaluates and implements process improvements, as appropriate.\nIdentifies potential impact of new departments, subsidiaries, products and other changes on job responsibilities\nCoordinates with management on the presentation and preparation of internal management reports that can be quickly reviewed by management.\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nKnowledge of:\nFinancial Reporting concepts, practices and procedures.\nBasic accounting principals\nSkill in:\nAdvanced skills in Excel including knowledge of complex formulas and managing large data sets\nAnalyzing financial information.\nPerforming mathematical calculations.\nPreparing surveys.\nOperating standard office equipment and using required software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets and databases.\nAbility to:\nImplement changes to standard procedures when required by specific situations and circumstances.\nWork independently, make non-routine decisions and resolve moderately complex accounting problems.\nCommunicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all organizational levels.\nOrganize, manage and track multiple detailed tasks and assignments with frequently changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.\nEducation/Previous Experience\nBachelor’s Degree (B.A.) in accounting or finance and up to two (2) years experience.\nOR ~\nAny equivalent combination of experience, education and/or training approved by Human Resources.\nEducation\nBachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: FinanceWork Experience\nGeneral Experience - 3 to 6 yearsCertifications\nOther Certification Not Listed - OtherTravel\nLess than 25% Workstyle\nHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, andmay include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
