Members of this experienced engineering team are known for their engineering excellence and set the trends in the firm for others to follow on architecture, design and development of low latency and highly scalable solutions.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\nAnalyzes complex system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between affected components and sub systems.\nLeverage AI-powered development tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Amazon Bedrock, and emerging AI technologies throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to improve productivity, quality, consistency, and delivery speed.\nRecommend the development of new solutions or the effective reuse of existing components and services.\nLead assigned projects by coordinating cross-functional teams, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and ensuring successful delivery across multiple locations.\nEvaluate and recommend new technologies, frameworks, and methodologies to address business needs, solve technical challenges, and capitalize on emerging opportunities.\nStay current with industry trends, software engineering practices, cloud technologies, and AI-driven development approaches.\nParticipates in system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.\nAssess requirements related to reporting, security, performance, scalability, and infrastructure to support effective solution design.\nParticipate in system design, development, testing, validation, deployment, and documentation activities.\nProvide technical leadership, mentorship, and expertise to resolve complex programming and design challenges. \nAuthor and review technical specifications, architecture documents, process flows, and design artifacts. \nReview testing outcomes, document test activities, and ensure timely remediation of identified defects. \nPerform root cause analysis and implement preventative solutions to minimize rework and project delays. \nSupport production applications, including participation in on-call rotations when required. \nPerform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nExperience / Skills:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems (MIS), Engineering, or a related field. \nFive (5) to Eight (8) years of professional software engineering or application development experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. \nProven experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade distributed applications and services. \nHands-on experience utilizing AI technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Bedrock, and similar platforms throughout the SDLC.\nStrong experience applying AI-assisted development techniques for code generation, testing, documentation, automation, and software modernization initiatives. \nHands-on experience with Python and scripting languages to build automation solutions, AI-assisted workflows, and developer productivity tools.\nHands on experience in Java/J2EE, Spring, RESTful API, SOAP Services, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, JPA/Hibernate, Microservices, Angular.\nStrong foundational knowledge in Object-Oriented Design Principles, Data Structures, Algorithms, SQL/NoSQL, Operating Systems, and Software Engineering.\nStrong experience in code optimization and tuning.\nExperience translating requirements into low level technical design.\nExperience in testing frameworks JUnit, TestNG , Mockito or Spock.\nCompetent in design and implementation for reliability, availability, scalability, and performance.\nCompetent in software engineering tools and best practices.\nExperience with Waterfall, Agile SDMs.\nStrong problem-solving skills and handling of on call responsibilities.\nStrong knowledge in using CI/CD, DevOps procedures for building/deploying applications.\nNice to have:\nExperience in Enterprise Integration Patterns and Frameworks.\nKnowledge/experience with cloud concepts and implementation.\nLicenses/Certifications:\nPreferred to have any certification in machine learning/python or AI technologies.\n Education\nBachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, High School (HS) (Required)Work Experience\nGeneral Experience - 3 to 6 yearsCertifications\nTravel\nLess than 25% Workstyle\nHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, andmay include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
