The ServiceNow Solutions Team provides technology solutions and support across the entire Raymond James Organization built on the ServiceNow platform.As a Lead Engineer, you will analyze business requirements and problems and drives research to design quality technical solutions. You will be involved in portions of the full systems life cycle (based on experience/skills) and will be responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, maintaining, and supporting applications and modules on the ServiceNow platform delivered on time and within budget. You will manage complex problems independently and demonstrates analytical thinking, are able to make judgements and recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation of data.\nJob Description\nThis position follows a hybrid work model, with an expectation to be in the office 3 days per week at the St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office location.\nPlease note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.\nResponsibilities:\nAnalyzes system requirements, including identifying program interactions and appropriate interfaces between impacted components and sub systems.\n\nMakes recommendations towards the development of new code or to reuse of existing code.\n\nMay lead assigned projects, including assigning tasks, coordinating efforts, and monitoring performance.\n\nMay recommend new technologies and methodologies to management for meeting business needs, resolving problems and exploiting opportunities. Remains current with new technologies.\n\nObtains and evaluates information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.\n\nParticipates in software system testing and validation procedures, programming and documentation.\n\nProvides technical advice and assists in solving programming problems.\n\nWrites and/or reviews system specifications, including output requirements and flow charts.\n\nAssists in preparing project plans using project management tools.\n\nReviews test results; documents test activities, and records remedial actions.\n\nEnsures proper analysis of problems and programming approaches to prevent rework and schedule slippage.\n\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\n\n Skills:\nServiceNow IT Modules (i.e., ITSM, ITOM, ITBM/ SPM, GRC/ IRM, SecOps, Vulnerability Response, Service Portal, SAM Pro, Integration Hub, and/or Performance Analytics.)\n\nDevelopment in JavaScript on the ServiceNow Platform\n\nIntegrations (e.g., REST APIs, LDAP, Active Directory, JDBC, Orchestration, etc.)\n\nScoped Applications\n\nService Portal, UI Builder, Configurable Workspace, and Now Experience Framework\n\nFlow Designer\n\nIntegration Hub\n\nAutomated Test Framework (ATF)\n\n Education\nBachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Computer and Information Science, Bachelor’s (Required)Work Experience\nGeneral Experience - 6 to 10 yearsCertifications\nTravel\nLess than 25% Workstyle\nHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, andmay include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
