This position will also support day-to-day resolution of complex problems and be involved in process improvement projects. Additional responsibilities and projects will be assigned commensurate with demonstrated competency of previous assignments.\nJob Description\nResponsibilities:\nSupports day-to-day resolution of complex investment accounting problems and transaction processing and is responsible for the client portfolio reconciliation processes.\nProcesses and reviews account transactions, ensuring accuracy and timely settlement.\nPerforms cash, position, and portfolio reconciliations and investigates discrepancies.\nPrepares and posts journal entries and adjustments as required.\nResearches and resolves transactions, reconciliation, and accounting-related exceptions.\nCollaborates with custodians, brokers, and internal teams to resolve operational issues.\nIdentifies process improvement opportunities and recommends solutions to enhance efficiency and controls.\nBalances competing priorities and meets established deadlines.\nPerforms other duties and responsibilities as assigned.\nKnowledge of:\n Demonstrate a satisfactory level of technical and professional skills or knowledge in position-related areas; remains current with developments and trends in areas of expertise.\nSkills in:\n Portfolio accounting systems and databases.\n Strong Excel skills.\n Communicating effectively in both oral and written communications.\n Demonstrating uncompromising adherence to ethical principles.\n Preparing analyses and information reports for management.\nAbilities to:\n Analyze problems and develop creative solutions.\n Handle stressful situations and provide a high level of customer service in a calm and professional manner.\n Provide efficient service to internal and external clients.\n Partner and collaborate and work in a team environment.\n Foster a cooperative work environment and partner with other functional areas to accomplish objectives.\n Attend to detail while maintaining a big picture orientation.\nEducation/Required Experience:\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related degree or two (2) years of relevant experience.\n Possess strong analytical skills\n Be able to multi-task\n Be self-motivated, have natural curiosity\n Work well in team environment\n Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills\n Involvement in process improvement projects\nPreferences\nExperience with fixed income securities\nExperience with custodian platforms\nFamiliarity with derivative securities\nFamiliarity with non-USD securities\nFamiliarity with SWIFT\nEducation\nBachelor’s: Accounting, Bachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: FinanceWork Experience\nGeneral Experience - 13 months to 3 yearsCertifications\nTravel\nLess than 25% Workstyle\nHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, andmay include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
