The ideal candidate possesses advanced problem-solving abilities, excellent communication skills, and the capability to lead technical initiatives that improve enterprise-wide data security, protection, and compliance.\nThe role is expected to leverage emerging AI and Large Language Model (LLM) technologies to improve operational efficiency, privacy engineering productivity, data security, and data protection automation capabilities.\nJob Description\nThis position will follow our hybrid work model, we expect the selected candidate to be in office 3 days a week at the following office location: St. Petersburg, FL.\nPlease note: This role is not eligible for Work Visa sponsorship, either currently or in the future.\nResponsibilities:\nLead enterprise data discovery, classification, cataloging, and data protection initiatives across on-premises and cloud-based platforms.\nDesign, implement, and support data privacy and protection solutions, including data masking, tokenization, anonymization, and sensitive data management.\nEngineer, optimize, and support enterprise database platforms, including Oracle, SQL Server, AWS, Azure, and other modern data technologies.\nDevelop scalable data solutions that align with security, governance, compliance, and business objectives.\nAutomate data management and operational processes through scripting, APIs, workflows, and engineering best practices.\nTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues while driving continuous improvement, scalability, and operational excellence.\nLeverage AI and emerging technologies to enhance data discovery, classification, documentation, and engineering productivity.\nPartner with Technology, Cybersecurity, Risk, Governance, and Compliance teams to ensure regulatory and data protection requirements are met.\nServe as a subject matter expert for enterprise data privacy, protection, and governance technologies.\nLead technical design discussions, mentor team members, and communicate complex solutions to both technical and business stakeholders.\nDevelop and maintain technical standards, architecture documentation, and operational procedures to support enterprise data initiatives.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Information Security, or related technical field.\nExpert level experience with ANY ONE platform OneTrust, Informatica DPM, Informatica TDM, BigID, or similar enterprise platforms.\nExpert level experience Python, Java, PowerShell, SQL, or API development experience.\nVery good experience building automation solutions leveraging AI and Generative AI technologies.\nGood Experience supporting enterprise cybersecurity and privacy programs.\nGood familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud-native architectures.\n8+ years of experience in Privacy Data Engineering, Data Security, Data Protection, and Data Protection related technology disciplines.\nProven experience leading enterprise-scale data privacy and data protection initiatives.\nPreferred Certifications:\nIAPP CIPP, CIPT, CIPM\nCertified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)\nMicrosoft Azure Data Engineer Associate\nAWS Certified Data Engineer\nSnowflake Certification\nInformatica Professional Certifications\nData protection or Privacy-related Certifications\n Education\nBachelor’s: Computer and Information Science (Required)Work Experience\nGeneral Experience - 6 to 10 yearsCertifications\nTravel\n Workstyle\nHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, andmay include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
