This position will work with product teams and stakeholders to develop education plans and content that:\nAre interactive, engaging, and tailored for financial professionals.\nSupport successful implementation and adoption of technology solutions. Increase operational efficiency, improve productivity and strengthen the advisor/client relationship through the use of technology.\nAddress the needs of a variety of learners from transitioning advisors and teams to experienced users.\nThis role requires travel (ranging from 65 - 70%) to field offices and various events to deliver presentations, classes and technology workshops. This position will follow our hybrid work model; we expect candidates to be in the office 3 days a week at the St. Petersburg, FL Corporate Office location. Travel and time spent at conferences or branches count towards this requirement.\nResponsibilities:\nEstablish and maintain deep knowledge of our technology platform and supported applications. \nConduct professional, custom, interactive virtual and in-person classes on proprietary Raymond James’ Technology and 3rd party applications.\nModel and effectively use appropriate instructional technology and adult education practices in the classroom and online.\nAs a project participant, lead or in an individual effort, conduct needs analysis, create education plans and develop education solutions for branch associates, management, advisory teams, and other audiences.\nCreate high quality, consistent and engaging education and presentation materials using a variety of software including PowerPoint and Photoshop.\nCreate instructor and classroom materials (course outlines, facilitator guides, student materials, and training aids) to provide excellent learner experience.\nMaintain awareness of and update educational materials to reflect enhancements and new releases.\nSkills/Previous Experience:\nB.S. in Finance, Education, or Computer Science is preferred.\nA minimum of 3 years of corporate learning and development experience is preferred.\nExperience with both in-person and virtual training.\nExperience with managing education plans.\nExperience with content creation.\nExperience with cross-collaborating with technology development teams on successful implementation and adoption strategies.\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\nKnowledge of:\nConcepts, practices and procedures of instructional design and adult learning theory\nThe financial industry, products, policies and procedures.\nSkills:\nConducting needs analyses to create educational solutions.\nApplying adult learning principles effectively.\nAbility to quickly learn and apply concepts.\nDelivery of training via in-person workshops, online and/or individual consultations.\nAbility to:\nUtilize and learn complex technology in a rapidly changing environment.\nDesign and develop engaging and professional training content using instructional design principles and practices.\nCommunicate technical information to a non-technical audience.\nPresent materials effectively and confidently via multiple mediums (online, in-person, written) for large and small audiences.\nWork independently or as a team toward achieving results; manage time appropriately to accomplish responsibilities; self-motivated to pursue solutions to complex issues.\nClearly convey information and ideas through a variety of media to individuals or groups in a manner that engages the audience and helps them understand and retain the message.\nMake internal and external clients and their needs a primary focus of action; develop and sustain productive client relationships.\nDemonstrate a satisfactory level of technical and professional skill or knowledge in position-related areas; remain current with developments and trends in areas of expertise.\nDevelop and use collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals.\nDevelop and maintain strong professional relationships.\nLicenses/Certifications:\nSIE is required provided that an exemption or grandfathering cannot be applied.\nRequired: Series 7 or the ability to obtain within 3 months of hire date.\nTravel Required:\n65 - 70% (field office visits, conferences and events).\n Education\nBachelor’s: Business Administration, Bachelor’s: Education, High School (HS) (Required)Work Experience\nGeneral Experience - 3 to 6 yearsCertifications\nTravel\nUp to 75% Workstyle\nHybridThe total compensation for this position includes base salary or wages, andmay include components such as additional compensation (cash or equity), discretionary bonuses, or commissions.
